7th Step

To avoid over-browning, cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft when pricked with a fork, in a preheated oven.

8th Step

Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling. Allow for a few minutes of resting time before serving the scalloped potatoes. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley.
