Rondelles Potatoes with Cheese Recipe

    • Grease a baking dish or a casserole dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
  1. Prepare the Potatoes:
    • Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. A mandoline slicer works well for this task to ensure even slices.
  2. Layer the Potatoes:
    • Arrange a layer of potato slices in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, slightly overlapping each other.
    • Season the layer with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of dried thyme.
    • Sprinkle a portion of the minced garlic over the potatoes.
    • Add a layer of shredded cheese on top of the potatoes.
