Old Fashioned Cream Custard Pie

This pie always comes out perfectly! Silky smooth custard! To prevent custard from going under the shell, be sure and poke holes with a fork all over the shell including the sides FIRST to prevent bubbling. That would be for any pie recipe BTW.

I have always loved Custard pie, but my attempts have never quite matched the one’s at the pie-shop
