Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast

Ingredients:

1 jar of dried beef slices, well rinsed and chopped.

4 tablespoons of butter.

4 tablespoons of flour.

A pinch of cayenne.

2 cups of milk.

Sea salt, and freshly cracked pepper.

Toasted bread.

Directions: 

Step 1

First, thoroughly rinse the slices of dried beef to remove excessive saltiness. After rinsing them well, gently dry them using a paper towel.

Step 2

Then, dice the beef into small, bite-sized pieces and keep them aside for now. Next, warm up the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Step 4

Pour the flour and a pinch of cayenne pepper into the melted butter, then, whisk the mixture thoroughly until it is well combined and cooked through, which typically takes about 45 seconds.
